Each county medical society is an independent 401c6 nonprofit professional association working collaboratively to achieve administrative efficiencies through regionalized back office functions.
For more than 150 years, the North Bay medical societies have been at the forefront of current medicine, ensuring that its members are represented in the areas of public policy, government relations and community relations. Through advocacy efforts at the county level and statewide through the California Medical Association, physician leaders and staff work to protect physicians practice from legal, legislative, and regulatory intrusions so physicians can focus on what’s really important: their patients.
The North Bay medical societies are components of the California Medical Association (CMA).
